It’s as straight forward as it gets. You insert the appropriate collet into the rear end, attach the cover, insert the bullet and tighten it. Then you whack it against a hard surface, such as a metal ingot or your workstation surface. A few knocks is all it takes for the bullet to get separated and fall right out. You can dump the powder and salvage the case.
Tip – Do not swing it like a framing hammer. The intention is to get the case to rebound, not to drive it into the surface. Use short swings and sharp whacks.
